Furong

Furong is not just a town; it is a living masterpiece of Tujia minority culture. Famous for its majestic waterfall that plunges through the heart of the village, Furong offers a surreal landscape where ancient wooden stilt houses (Diaojiaolou) seem to float above the misty cliffs. When night falls and the lanterns glow against the rushing waters, the town transforms into a scene from a traditional Chinese ink painting, offering a tranquil and soulful contrast to the rugged peaks of nearby Zhangjiajie.
