Wave Valley

The Wave Valley in Jingbian is a sea of solidified red sand. These eolian sandstone formations feature hypnotic, flowing patterns that look like water ripples turned to stone. Unlike the restricted access in the US, WeTrip’s route allows you to explore multiple “Wave” zones, from the vertical Flame Danxia to the serene Water Danxia where the red rocks meet a tranquil lake.
