Wuhou Shrine

Wuhou Shrine is a sanctuary of Chinese history and classical garden design. As the only temple in China where an Emperor and his Prime Minister are enshrined together, it commemorates the spirit of loyalty and wisdom from the turbulent Three Kingdoms period. Beyond its historic halls and stone statues, the shrine is famous for its “Red Wall Lane”—a poetic path lined with bamboo and crimson walls that offers one of the most iconic photographic backdrops in Chengdu.

The most influential museum of Three Kingdoms history, dedicated to the legendary strategist Zhuge Liang and Emperor Liu Bei.
