Pingjiang Road

Pingjiang Road is a living scroll of Suzhou’s history. Running alongside a shimmering canal for over 800 years, this stone-paved street is lined with traditional white-walled houses, teahouses, and boutique workshops. It is the best place to witness the “Double-Chessboard” layout of the city—where roads and rivers run in parallel. We arrange for you to hop on a traditional sculling boat for a peaceful cruise, accompanied by the melodic strains of Suzhou Pingtan (storytelling ballads) drifting from the riverside balconies.
