Hemu Village

Hemu is a place where time has stood still. As one of the few remaining settlements of the Tuva people, the village is a cluster of traditional wooden houses with pointed roofs, scattered across a lush valley. The experience here is defined by the “Hemu Sunrise”—watching the morning mist rise from the river to shroud the cabins in a dreamlike veil. On our private tour, you will visit a local Tuva family to hear the haunting melodies of the Suer (an ancient reed flute) and taste fresh handmade yogurt. Whether riding a horse through the birch forests or simply breathing the crisp mountain air, Hemu offers a profound sense of peace.
